These drum classes have been such a wonderful experience for me. I genuinely enjoy every single lesson. The teacher is inspiring, talented, and has a great sense of humor, which makes learning so much fun. The whole team is fantastic, and you can really feel the passion they put into what they do. Highly recommend!

I've found my calling. Or drumming I should say. Thanks to the initial free trial session day that was so well organised and run, I signed up that same day. The sense of shared learning and achievement got me hooked. Give it a go, and have fun and be ready to learn a new skill.

My wife and I signed up for the taster session…and now we’re hooked!! I can’t recommend the 07 drum project enough - this has been so much fun, playing in drumming group has always been a dream for me and now it’s a reality - Filipe is a great teacher, and breaks things down so it’s manageable - he challenges the group but no one is left behind. The rest of the team are also fantastic - we have a lot of fun and I genuinely feel like I improve each week. Thank you 07 - you have elevated my weekends so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Class progression
Students progress through structured class levels, each building on the last and marked by a shoulder strap colour. Every level develops musical skill, discipline, and the ability to perform as part of a team.
The starting point for all new students. Players learn correct posture, stick control, basic rhythms, listening skills, and simple marching patterns, with a strong focus on playing together as a group.
Students build confidence by consolidating core skills and tackling more complex rhythms and longer pieces. Greater coordination, timing, and consistency are developed at this level.
Technique and musical accuracy are refined. Players master intricate rhythms, choreographed movement, and sustained performance, developing precision, endurance, and musical expression.
Performance-focused classes that operate like rehearsals. Players prepare full shows, lead sections, and demonstrate creativity, discipline, and strong stage presence.
Progress is based on commitment and consistent effort. Students move forward at their own pace, and every level prepares them fully for the next challenge.
Who the classes are for?
O7 classes are open to all ages, from beginners joining for enjoyment to players who want to train seriously and progress as performers. There is a place for everyone within the programme.
Classes are organised by age group and progression level, ensuring a supportive, focused environment where each student can develop at the right pace.
Children, young people, and adults with an interest in drumming and rhythm
Complete beginners as well as those with previous musical experience
People joining for enjoyment, confidence, or creative expression
Players who want to commit, progress, and work towards performance
No previous drumming experience is required. Every student is supported within a clear structure, with progression based on commitment and consistent effort rather than age or background.
